comes pretty much completed for thocky sound. just add switches and keycaps. no modding required :)
Loved how the quality of the Hi8 was amazing and it's so heavy and solid. I also loved how fast the delivery was and the tracking was on point!
i own a lot keyboard more than 7 in total mostly in 50-150$ and among those i own especially in this price range it's the best,
Sound: good
Coating: good
Internals look great, and have storage dongle on the back with mod switch
Software: good, maybe a bit below QMK/VIA in usability but nonetheless have good functionality like remapping different layers
easy to unscrew this keyboard and modify, so you can achieve any sound profile of course it depends on switches as well, but with silent outemu silent peach v3 and hand lubed kailh polia i used it's great silent/creamy i used it with either thick moa profile keycaps or doubleshot pbt with thickness 1.6mm
It was simple to build and sounds amazing. I built mine with Gateron Milky Yellow Pro switches and MOA profile keycaps. I originally wanted the green color, but WhatGeek reached out to let me know they were sold out and kindly offered to exchange colors. It was a smooth and simple process.
