Solid Design with Aluminum Case
Constructed from top-grade aluminum, the Galaxy80 wireless keyboard endures the test of time while exuding a premium aesthetic. It is designed to be heavy-duty and textured for optimal longevity and is composed of solid, robust materials to ensure dependability.
Gasket Mounted Mechanical Keyboard Kit
The Galaxy80 Aluminum Wireless DIY Kit offers a superior typing experience thanks to its high-quality gasket structures paired with Poron foam, IXPE switch pad, PET sound pad, EMDP switch set pad, and PET bottom pad. This combination reduces impact and provides a smoother, more flexible typing experience.
88-Key Hot-swappable
The Galaxy80 is a hot-swappable mechanical keyboard with an aluminum CNC case. It not only has a beautiful unique design but also delivers a premium solid feeling. The keyboard features south-facing LEDs and is fully hot-swappable with 3-pin or 5-pin mechanical switches. With the Galaxy80, you can easily swap your stock switches for any other colored or MX-style switches with no soldering required.
South-facing RGB Backlights
The Galaxy80 features a variety of default RGB effects that you can easily change by key combination. South-facing PCB can make the keyboard RGB smoother and brighter.
Tri-Mode Connection
The FEKER Galaxy80 offers triple connectivity options: wired, 2.4GHz, and Bluetooth 5.1. The kit includes a 2.4GHz wireless dongle and type-C keyboard cable. Additionally, the device's 4000mAh battery and power-saving module maintain superior battery life.

Board doesn't quite match images. The weight on the rear does not match the board I purchased. I bought the board specifically because of the way the weight looks in the photos, but the weight has branded logos on it "feker x epomaker." And not the plain weight on this page.
Just like most of you, I think the design and build of this keyboard are great. I would even say exceptional considering the price. And having such a great sound out of the box is an unexpected bonus.
However, being tied to this VTER software really holds it back. If the firmware were VIA compatible, this keyboard could truly shine. I can't even find a way to simply edit the existing mappings already in use on the board, especially the Mac layer.
@K.N. try Fn + RightShift to control that light bar. It actually has great options.
The light bar on the right is not controllable. You can’t change its colour and can’t turn it on or off independently. I’ll probably end up opening it and disconnecting it if I can. Otherwise, it’s a solid build, works great, sounds awesome, and the stabs are surprisingly good for stock stabs.
Absolutely recommend it, as long as you accept the light bar “issue”
Went from Blackwidow chroma v3 tkl to Galaxy80 Aluminum with Akko Penguin switched, I couldnt be happier. this keyboard is just amazing, cannot recommend enough
Ordered the Galaxy80 Tri-Mode kit but was sent the wired only version instead. Reached out to Whatgeek support and they quickly responded and provided a full refund and even let me keep the wired kit!
